We will explore the capital of Peru visiting the historic center, declared Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, as well as colonial mansions of great value. We will learn about ancient civilizations visiting museums and archaeological centers outside the city. Admire the beauty of the City of Kings, and savor the incredible local cuisine. Itinerary Day 1: Reception at Jorge Chávez International Airport and transfer to the selected hotel. Rest of the day free. Accommodation. Day 2: Breakfast at the hotel. The tour begins with a visit to the Larco Museum, which chronologically exhibits impressive galleries that show an exceptional panorama of 3000 years of development of the history of pre-Columbian Peru. Then, we will go to the historic center to visit Casa Aliaga, a beautiful colonial mansion. Panoramic visit of the Historic Center and its imposing monuments and buildings, among which the following stand out: The Cathedral, the Plaza Mayor, and the Plaza San Martín, among others. We will return to the hotel, free time for lunch. In the afternoon, before dark, we will visit the Magic Fountains Circuit and appreciate an impressive and fun show with a play of lights. Then, we will go to enjoy a delicious buffet dinner at a local restaurant, and spend some quality time with the live show. Overnight at the selected hotel. Day 3: Breakfast at the hotel. We will start the day visiting the bohemian district of Barranco, to walk across the bridge of sighs, and appreciate the beautiful architecture of this neighborhood. Then, departure to visit the citadel of Pachacamac; sacred place of pilgrimage and ceremonial 31 kilometers south of Lima. It shows a set of pyramidal buildings of temples and enclosures of ancient pre-Columbian cultures and the Inca empire. The Temples of Pachacamac, of the Sun and of the Chosen Women, the Virgins of the Sun, stand out. It exhibits a site museum that keeps the idol of the god Pachacamac- The Creator of the World-main divinity and oracle worshiped by the ancient Andean peoples. Return to Lima, rest of the afternoon free. Overnight at the selected hotel. Day 4: Breakfast. At the scheduled time, departure transfer to the airport to take the international flight.
